Participants will learn the history of Usui Reiki, the methods and the 5 governing principles. They will also focus on self-development, particpate in guided meditations, learn and practice Reiki healing positions on themselves and other classmates. Upon completion of the workshop each participant is given a Reiki Level 1 training manual and frameable certificate.

Where it all began…

When I was stressed out to the max working in Corporate America, I decided to create a mini-retreat with my friends who needed to getaway. We couldn’t afford to go to a spa in Jamaica each time we wanted to escape from the daily grind. So, every other month, we’d pack up our bags and head up to the Poconos in Pennsylvania. I designed it as a real event with a workshop schedule and handouts, even though it was only four of us. My calling was shouting loud and clear then and I even didn’t know it! LOL

Everyone would bring something to the table. One friend would teach yoga, another would give facials, another art therapy, and I’d teach classes on self love, small business, or creative writing.
After each trip, we’d come back refreshed, clear-headed and focused on our goals. Most importantly, we developed an even closer relationship with ourselves.We were proud of our accomplishments and ready to take on the future. This feeling was too good not to share and my fun little event for my girls…morphed into a quarterly workshop in NYC and then grew to what is now known as The Own Your Power Retreat in Miami!

    POLICIES:   Enrollment for workshops is on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited since we encourage an intimate setting. If a class is sold out please ask to be added to our waiting list. With some exceptions, registration closes 24 hours prior to class. If a minimum number of attendees is not met within 24 hours of event, the event may be cancelled. This includes free classes.

 In case of cancellation, all paid reservations will be notified immediately and class fees (if applicable) will be fully refunded via paypal.com Reservations may be cancelled by attendees.
